Peter Lamelas, MD, MBA, is a senior advisor to Legacy Ventures and advises the firm on prospective and active investments.  Dr. Lamelas is the founder and former CEO of MD Now Urgent Care, expanding the company to become one of the leading medical providers in the nation through successful partnerships with two private equity firms.  He also continues to serve as a Board Advisor to MD Now.  Dr. Lamelas is board certified and has over 20 years of experience in emergency medicine and EMS.  He served on the Board of Directors of the Urgent Care Association of America and was appointed to the State of Florida Board of Medicine by then Florida Governor Jeb Bush.  Dr. Lamelas is actively engaged within the community and serves with several non-profit organizations throughout South Florida.
